One good development from the last few otherwise shitty (though sometimes entertaining) months is that whereas not too long ago we complained about the Democratic bench being pretty poor, and now people that only we political dorks had ever heard of, like Adam Schiff, Kirsten Gillibrand, Ted Lieu, and others, are now household names, as will be any Democrat that wins a special election in the coming weeks. I suppose that's something!
