We dodged a couple of bullets this week, particularly the spending resolution for the next six months and the French elections (whew!).
There are a couple of stories going on right now that are important and interesting, like what the Senate does next on the AHCA and the China/Kushner story I highlighted over the weekend, but that I don't expect to advance much this week.
But the only thing I'm *really* following is Sally Yates's testimony in a couple of hours, and it appears I'm not the only one...
General Flynn was given the highest security clearance by the Obama Administration - but the Fake News seldom likes talking about that.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 8, 2017
Ask Sally Yates, under oath, if she knows how classified information got into the newspapers soon after she explained it to W.H. Counsel.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 8, 2017
Remember Trump's sniffling during the debates? I was just discussing with a friend that I concluded back then that it was a nervous tic on his part when he's under pressure. If I'm right, he's got an economy-sized box of tissues at his side at all times right now.
Sally's set to testify at 2 Eastern today.
Have a week, people.
