Open Thread -- United Edition

I'm a little late to the game on this because I hate flying and this didn't seem surprising at all.


 
 
 
But it's certainly inspired some tasty internet snark. My favorite, from Tengrain:




My personal policy is if it takes less than ten hours to drive or take the train somewhere, I'll do that over flying. The whole airport experience is usually just a few degrees short of that passenger's experience. Security lines, packing light with no liquids, delays, standby... I skip it if I can.

What does it take to get you to choose driving or the train over flying?
