Drip, Drip, Drip -- J.D. Gordon?

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is not the only member of President Trump’s campaign who spoke to Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at a diplomacy conference connected to the Republican National Convention in July. At least two more members of the Trump campaign’s national security officials also spoke with Kislyak at the event, and several more Trump national security advisers were in attendance.
It's unknown what the Trump campaign officials who spoke with the ambassador – J.D. Gordon and Carter Page – discussed with him. Those who took part in the events in Cleveland said it is not unusual for presidential campaign teams to interact with diplomats.
However, the newly-revealed communications further contradict months of repeated denials by Trump officials that his campaign had contact with officials representing the Russian government.

So, that's six names now from the campaign having been confirmed to have spoken to Russians -- Sessions, Cohen, Stone, Page, Flynn, and now J.D. Gordon. For all of my obsessive following of the campaign, I hadn't heard of the guy. Wikipedia says.

Since leaving the Pentagon, Gordon has worked as a senior advisor to national Republican political figures, including former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, business leaders Mr. Donald Trump, Mr. Herman Cain, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, the latter three during their respective presidential campaigns.
In 2010, he organized public speaking events by Gov. Palin in Florida and California during the Congressional campaign cycle. At the time, Palin's speaking tour was the focus of intense national media attention.
In 2011, Gordon became Vice President of Communications and Chief Foreign Policy and Security Advisor for the 2012 Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain.[12] Grace Wiler of Business Insider described Gordon's dual role as both campaign spokesman and foreign policy advisor as evidence that Cain had "completely thrown out the conventional campaign playbook."[13] From its analysis of Gordon's columns and television appearances prior to the campaign, The Nation magazine wrote, "it would appear that Cain is getting the same national security advice he would from Dick Cheney."[14]
After the Cain campaign ended, Gordon returned to his role as a Senior Fellow and advisor to several Washington, DC based think tanks, as well as conservative columnist and television commentator.
In 2015, Gordon became the Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to 2016 Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, the former Governor of Arkansas. He appeared on behalf of Gov. Huckabee at various events, to include speaking at a White House rally against the Iran Deal in July 2015, alongside Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).
In February 2016, Gordon officially endorsed Donald Trump for president.[15]
In March, he joined the Trump Campaign as the Director of National Security, managing the National Security Advisory Committee under its Chairman, Senator Jeff Sessions (R. - Ala.). In July, during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, Gordon reportedly played a key policy role in the GOP Platform development. This includes advising delegates who defeated an amendment calling for lethal assistance to Ukraine in its struggle against Russia.

So he's worked with the best -- Palin, Trump, Cain, Huckabee, Sessions, and Cruz. And check out the bolded sentence.

I imagine it's his "turn in the barrel" soon.

UPDATE (3/2/2017, 6:39 PM): Well, he's certainly forthcoming:
