Senate Votes to Make America More Stupid

I was about to write something snarky on Twitter, when I got a news alert that Betsy DeVos was confirmed. We had a couple of fun days at Trump's expense, but this brings me back to earth. This is how the Republican Party works.

I take back any credit I gave to Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins. They likely knew they had the cover to vote no, knowing that no other Republican would join them and DeVos would be confirmed. Even if they didn't, the fact that they continue to remain in such a party is absolutely unforgivable. I'm done hearing other Democrats refer to them as "liberal" or "moderate." Just done. Not going to hear it anymore.

And as I said recently, if the Republican Party does not provide three votes against Jeff Sessions next, I will never, ever be courteous to a Republican because that will confirm they've gone full Nazi. After that, if Dems ever come back to power, I will fight to have their party dismantled and deprogrammed. We will need Denazification. I'm not taking that back.

Democrats in Congress: These people are not your colleagues. They are your enemies. Remember that.
